Massive earthquakes around the world have shown us the destruction
that comes when the foundations are shaken. We know the foundation is
the most important design element of any building. So imagine what
would happen if the foundations of a nation were not just shaken but
completely removed.
America was founded upon faith and total
dependence upon God for the purpose of spreading His truth and giving
Him glory. Stacked upon this core foundational layer are common moral
law, rooted in the Bible, and preservation of life, liberty, and the rule of law.
These are what uphold our nation and keep us united.
The new progressive movement sweeping through our country has one
primary goal which is to completely remove America's foundations. The
result will be America's great downfall, and we've seen harbingers of
this coming calamity over the past 30+ years (9/11 was a big one)
warning us to repent and rebuild our crumbling foundations upon God.
The largest financiers (George Soros & his Open Society Foundation)
and proponents (Obama and the Clintons) of this progressive, leftist
movement know precisely what the outcome will be and have followed Saul
Alinsky's playbook exactly to ensure America's downfall.
Nasser
is surely one of the most depraved and wicked men on earth, and we all
rejoice that he has now been locked up for life where he cannot abuse
another child. However, key questions must still be addressed following his sentencing:
How was he allowed to do this for so long to so many people?
How could so many university officials, gymnastic club
owners/operators, coaches, and the entire USAG administration continue
to cover-up and dismiss all the allegations and evidence brought against
him year after year?
Why wouldn't anyone speak up for the children he violated?
At least 159 women that we know of could have been spared his horrific
abuses if his first victim had been heard and justice meted. Yet,
cover-ups, concealment, flat out refusal to call evil what it is, or the
inability of hardened hearts to even discern the difference between
right from wrong are the norm in our post-Christian culture that
preaches moral relativism and tolerance for all that is harmful and
profane. Victims are silenced, and justice is withheld simply to protect
one's reputation and powerful position or for cash bribes.
The
Nasser case got a lot of publicity and should embolden survivors to
speak out while catapulting the nation's willingness to listen and to
demand justice for abusers. I pray it will ignite investigations and
prosecutions of those who aid, abet, and protect pedophiles & other
felons with judges rendering punishments fully befitting the crime.
Dear Lord, may this case prompt swift and effective action to stop and
prevent the abuse of our nation's precious children.
While I
would never want to minimize the suffering of any of Nasser’s victims,
the way that case was handled provides a powerful example of how other
cases of abuse and injustice should be addressed so as to significantly
curb and prevent future corruption which brings national calamity.
Other instances of selfishly motivated abuses of power and position
have also continued for well over 30 years, resulting in far more
victims and plenty of long-term damage. Illegal activities by an
unaccountable elite in the highest positions of power have resulted in
decades of painful consequences, some of which include:
the loss of countless innocent lives
the slaughter of patriots & local heroes
numerous cold-blooded murders masked as “suicide”
multiple rapes
suspected child abuse/trafficking
severe compromise of national security
economic disaster
evil regimes gassing their own people
massive funding of terrorist activities
large-scale expansion of nuclear weapon capacity by enemy nations (Iran & N. Korea)
the decimation of national morality and the rule of law
Until these wicked, unlawful deeds are called out for what they really
are and until justice is meted to the fullest extent of the law at the
highest offices in the land as we saw with the Larry Nasser case, the
number of victims & damage will only continue to multiply
exponentially.
Rachel Denhollander kept asking during her
impact statement, “How much is a little child worth?” So I ask, “How
much is America worth? How much is our freedom, our security, our
military, our children, our heroes, and each and every citizen worth?”
"20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. 22 Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, 23 who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent. 24 Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 5:20-24)
Call
me a fool if you wish, but I am not convinced Trump used the language
he was accused of when speaking of Haiti or other suffering nations
because the accusation was made by one who has repeatedly lied about
similar types of conversations before, because others in the room
testified to not hearing him say it, and because he denied it. However,
given remarks he has made in the past, I can certainly understand why
people would believe that he said it. I find the remark repulsive if he
said it, but I do not see it as a racist attack on the natives of those
countries at all. The people who live there are beautiful, intelligent,
gifted, and infinitely valuable, made in the image of God. We are no
better than they are, and Trump has said as much when speaking of the
dignity and sacredness of ALL mankind.
But their countries ARE
cesspools, not because of the color of their people's skin or on
anything the general population has done, but rather, based on what a
few corrupt elite government officials have done to their good people
and to their beautiful land.
America is (or was established to
be) different. The Constitution sets up plenty of checks on power to
ensure that we don't get to that point. Of course, those checks assume
that those elected into office possess similar values, morality, and
common sense as those upon which our nation was founded.
Books
have been written about the many uncanny similarities between the U.S.
and Israel and how their history is playing out again in the U.S. to the
precise detail. Thus, it is instructive to look at Israel's history so
we can learn from their good choices and from their mistakes. It is wise
to look at the laws God gave Israel to sustain, grow, and preserve
their nation as a nation under Yahweh, set apart for Him. Foreigners
were welcomed by individuals in that culture with tremendous
hospitality, and we in America, especially those of us who follow
Christ, are each personally responsible for providing for those in need
and for welcoming our guests with great hospitality and friendship,
regardless of our guest's country of origin or citizenship status. The Lord clearly commanded them not to oppress "strangers" (legal immigrants) in their land*. All
human life has dignity and deserves respect. But from a national policy
perspective, God instructed foreigners who lived in Israel to assimilate
and to follow many of their laws. God gave His chosen nation many
protective restrictions to prevent them from becoming like the
surrounding nations. They were to be set apart and to be a light and a
blessing to all the world. That blessing was part of God's covenant to
Abraham.
Similarly, the U.S. was established on Judeo-Christian
values, as a nation set apart "for God's glory and the advancement of
the Christian faith" (Mayflower Compact), to be a light of freedom and
blessing for the entire world, to uphold the truth "that all men are
created equal", and to preserve each person's God given "unalienable
rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of
happiness." (Declaration of Independence)
Sadly, there are people
around the world with a very different worldview who do not share our
values. They hate America, the liberty she offers, and her people. They
rape our people and our prosperity while mocking us mercilessly. They
come here not to assimilate, contribute, nor build up, but rather to
overthrow, to disrespect and disobey our laws, to torture, and to destroy.
While there may be plenty of good motives driving individuals who advocate for full amnesty, the DNC's political strategy on immigration isn't based on love or
compassion for the foreigner at all, but rather on self-interest. They want to
let in anyone and everyone, without concern over what those people will
take from us or do to us, because they expect their loose immigration
platform to buy these immigrants' votes and the votes of all their
descendants for many generations. Such a strategy is actually far more
disrespectful than common sense immigration laws because it assumes
these immigrants are uneducated, illiterate, and too lazy or unable to
think through policy issues and ramifications of each platform
logically, critically, and morally for themselves or for the greater
common good. It lowers immigrants to the position of "useful idiots" instead
of valuing them as equals.
Interestingly, some of the brightest, most
articulate, most thoughtful, and most patriotic people I know are legal
immigrants who oppose everything the DNC represents, and they are
fighting for improved vetting (as opposed to chain migration and unsystematic lotteries) because they don't want America to turn
into the same type of cesspool, controlled by greedy tyrants, which they
fled. The DNC doesn't care. They just want more votes, so they can have
more power. But the other side in this debate loves America, and they
love all the diverse and/or hurting people around the world. They want
freedom loving people of any ethnicity to always have a place to run to
for safety, liberty, truth, hope, and the opportunity to become all the
good Lord calls them to be. If America gives into these progressive demands, there will be nowhere else to run.
Here is just one example taken from
Andrew Klavan's well written article, "Of Crudeness and Truth" showing
what we will become if we cave to leftist ideology and sacrifice our identity as a nation set apart for truth, justice, and liberty:
"In England,
in the city of Rotherham, at least 1,400 non-Muslim girls, some as young
as 11, were brutally raped by Muslim immigrants over a period of years
in the 2000s. Police and other officials worked to keep the facts hidden
because, according to multiple reports, they were afraid of being
called racist. Think about that: police officers did not want to seem
racist, so they stood by and let their city’s children be raped. The
same thing goes on in other cities in England and throughout Europe. And
in fact, some who have spoken out have had their careers curtailed by
manufactured scandal. The message is clear: it’s just not nice to tell
the truth. It’s just not done. Don’t do it."
*For a more complete Biblical analysis of this issue, I recommend:
A week after the 2016 presidential election, news networks and liberals are still scratching their heads wondering what went wrong. There has been no shortage of op-ed pieces written on this matter, so instead of offering up more opinions as to why Hillary Clinton lost, perhaps it would help to present an outsider's perspective of the progressive liberal agenda as a mirror to help progressives see what outsiders' see.
From a pragmatic perspective, the progressive narrative dominating modern American culture does not seem compassionate, logical, or hopeful. Instead of presenting a dream for a better future, progressive ideals place America on a destructive trajectory. The progressive playbook looks more like a toxic pile of insulting labels and paradoxical talking points than any reasonable or helpful plan for positive change, so those outside of progressive herds refused to support such dismal plans with their votes. An outsider's observations of the progressives' rule book for playing the social change game, with all its many contradictions, are listed below.
The Paradoxical Progressive Playbook
An Outsider's Perspective
Truth is relative and tolerance is encouraged, except with regard to progressive platforms. To join the progressive club, you must hold all views in common with the progressive elites. Comments, questions, or suggestions that oppose the progressive talking points will not be tolerated under any circumstance. The marketplace of ideas now only has room for our ideas. Progressives value diversity as long as everyone thinks like we do. Freedom of speech is applauded during progressive protest events, but any speech that differs in content from ours must be silenced immediately. Use force when necessary.
Even though wealthy Americans and business owners create jobs, build the economy, support their communities, and give generously to charity, they are a menace to society and must be punished. Exceptions exist for wealthy businessmen who financially support our cause and collude with progressive minded politicians like Michael Froman, a former Citibank executive, did when he purchased the right to appoint Obama’s cabinet members. As for the others who do not advance our new social order, we don’t need the jobs they create anyway since we can choose to not work and live off entitlements or to work for the government or globalist billionaires as community organizers, protestors, lobbyists, and politicians.
Facts never matter to us. We are ruled by our feelings, even when our feelings lie to us. No matter how well people support their arguments with facts, if what they say makes us feel uncomfortable or compromises the validity of our worldview, they are wrong. Remember that there is no right or wrong, but we are always right, and they are always wrong.
Progressives are free spirits. We think outside-of-the-box. We will not let conservatives tell us what to do with our bodies! We support socialized health care because the government can make better decisions about our healthcare and our bodies than we can, except with regard to abortion. We just need to make sure progressive elites maintain control of our national healthcare syste because they are so interested in fanticide and euthanasia, they will tell us to abort anyway, especially if we're poor, black, or some other "weed". (Also note Alan Guttmacher's work regarding Planned Parenthood, abortion, and euthanasia.)
"It means the release and cultivation of the better racial elements in
our society, and the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual
extirpation of defective stocks — those human weeds which threaten the
blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization." - Margaret Sanger, 8 April 1923 New York Times article
To manage conflict, shut-down all conversations involving opposing worldviews. Preferred progressive methods for ending uncomfortable conversations include:
Make broad sweeping statements to categorize and insult entire groups of people even if the person holding the opposing viewpoint does not characterize that group as a whole.
Use elementary school style bullying as needed.
Complain that your feelings art hurt and start the water works.
Protest, riot, and commit acts of violence that will attract the media and provide free press for the progressive platform.
Apply labels liberally. Popular progress labels include "sexist", "bigot" "racist", "intolerant", "xenophobic", "intolerant", "supremacist", and "nationalist".
People do not kill people. The NRA and guns kill people, so support all efforts to ban guns and bankrupt the NRA. Allowed exceptions include arming terrorists and running guns to drug cartels because the progressive government leaders who made those decisions know far better than we do what is best. If we ban guns and set up more gun-free zones, then we will be safe because terrorists and criminals do not break our laws.We can trust the Democrats in federal government (who let our men die in Benghazi despite repeated pleas for help not just from Ambassador Stephens and even from the Pentagon who had reinforcements ready and waiting to defend them) to protect us, so why would we ever need to protect ourselves?
Progressives support the interests of the LGBTQ community except when terrorists want to shoot them all in a bar in Orlando. In that case, the FBI stopped all investigations surrounding suspected terrorist Omar Matten due to FBI limitations. We would not consider tightening the borders or keeping out the terrorists who have a deeper level of hatred for gays as as long as the nations that fund terror also fund our cause with many millions of dollars.
Even though America was founded on
Christian principles which even Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson (both of whom were not Christians) insisted were vital for democracy’s
survival (we're writing all that out of the revised history
books), even though Christians continue to be the most generous people
on earth with their time and their money, even though faith based
ministries provide more effective world relief and
humanitarian aid than secular or government programs, and even though
Biblical truth and strong Christian faith were what drove William
Wilberforce, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Abraham Lincoln, and U.S. Republicans
to take great risks to free the oppressed, Christianity must be suppressed because it hinders our ultimate goal of suppressing all mankind.
Since so many people have suffered and died in the name of religion, and since Catholics and evangelical Christians oppose our revolutionary ideas, both groups should be punished. To ensure that their influence dies, we will infiltrate their churches with wolves in sheep's clothing who will pretend to be like them but lead them all astray. (Reference "Catholic Spring" in the Podesta emails at WikiLeaks.) Note how many have died under evangelical dictators in the chart below compared to atheists. Oops, evangelicals are note even listed in the top 10, but we do see 15 million killed under a Catholic dictator who was far more corrupt than he was Catholic. Just don't look at how many people were killed by atheists, as our globalist minded financial backers are atheists, and we don't want to portray them as mass murderers. This chart only shows dictators, but while evangelicals and Catholics oppose dictatorships, progressives aren't for dictatorships either...well, not yet anyway, but that is where our agenda ultimately leads. It will be fine, though. While ultimate power ultimately corrupts, these wealthy men who are vying for dictator status are on our side....at least for now. Oh never mind!
So evangelicals are not mass murderers, but they oppose our "Constitutionally protected" right to kill out own children which overrules the child's God given right to life (in our minds anyway), and that’s a problem. Imagine what the world would be like if the 58 million Americans* aborted since 1973 had been allowed to live, love, laugh, learn and give back. We are not like the tyrants in the chart above because we only mass murder innocent people whom Planned Parenthood operatives convince us will make our lives inconvenient.
*53 million from 1973 through 2011 plus approximately 1 million per year since in the U.S. alone
Evangelical beliefs are far more radical than ours, especially in the way they treat women and children. Evangelicals actually teach that children are not an inconvenience but rather, a blessing and a gift from the Lord. They think separation of church and state means the government cannot dictate how they practice their faith, but we will make sure they are forced by law to pay for our abortions. Evangelical and Catholics are barbaric in the way they describe the partial birth procedure. Their medical accuracy and pictures make us feel guilty. (Remember again that anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable is wrong!). The partial birth procedure is nothing more than turning the baby into a breech position (which is harmful for the mother, but losing sleep because of a baby's cries is no picnic either), and delivering the healthy, full-term baby backward, all except the head, and then while the body hangs out of the mother's body, the doctor simply pokes his scissors into the skull and then sucks the brains out. It hurts like the dickens, but the full term healthy and vibrant fetal mass does not suffer forever.
Thanks to the federal government’s progressive move to underwrite college education (which drove tuition prices sky high, but we don't care because unsustainable federal debt will bring down America and that is our end goal), progressive academia, college students, and millennials are now the most indoctrinated educated members of society. They are so indoctrinated educated that they can recite an entire diversity training manual from memory. Some are so versed in social justice warrior skills that they can earn a PhD for a dissertation that labels STEM curricula as sexist on the premise that women cannot think objectively! Post- doctoral research has become so advanced that one astute professor conducted a study that proved that pumpkins are racist! While these educated progressives have no comprehension of basic economics, finance, history, civics, logic, or rhetoric, and cannot recite a single line from the U.S. Constitution, they know that Roe V. Wade gave them the freedom to abort babies. They have no concept of communism or its ill effects. Nearly two-thirds of millennials surveyed agree with Marxist philosophy and 46% think socialism is good while 58% view capitalism unfavorably (view full survey results here), but that's good for our cause because socialism is a prerequisite for world domination, and capitalism works against us since it tends to restore failing economies. They have no concept of the value of human liberty or of the ultimate price paid by countless American patriots to preserve it, so they would gladly trade their freedom, which has infinite worth, for free stuff the government buys with hard working taxpayers' money. They have no concept of limited resources or the implications of oppressive debt loads, but they have lots of ideas for ways to spend other people’s hard earned money. Progressive college students do not know how to handle disappointment as illustrated by the recent rioting, and they cannot deal with real life outside of their safe spaces, but they are expert protestors and have mastered the art of political correctness. They will suit our agenda perfectly.
Even though slavery existed in every ancient civilization and
continued through the Babylonian, Greek, and Roman empires, all through
the Middle Ages, around the Mediterranean region, throughout Arabia and
Africa, and grew during the 10th century German expansion during which so many Slavs were taken as slaves that we derived our generic term “slave” from them), and even though slavery spread to Russia and the entire Baltic sea region and on to Portugal, Europe, Britain,
the West Indies, and the U.S. colonies, white Americans are the only ones to blame for slavery**,
even if white Americans have no genetic connection to slave owners and
even if they are descendants of abolitionists. White Anglo-Saxons did
not start slavery, but they did lead the efforts to abolish it. Even so, we
will punish all whites forever no matter how much they stand up
against racial injustice now.
**Please note that conservative Christians hold to a
Biblical, benevolent patriotism. We seek to manage our resources
wisely, grow our economy, and honor God so that as He pours blessings
upon us, we may be a blessing to other nations. Our patriotism must
never be a selfish, racist, or imperialistic nationalism. It's not about
more for us, but about providing more benefits to the entire world
through wise stewardship of the resources God has given us.
Even though slavery still exists in America for people of all colors and nationalities here in the U.S. and abroad through human trafficking and radical Islam, and even though conservative Christians of all races strive to set them free out of human compassion and in memory of all who have suffered in slavery before them, progressives tend to ignore such injustice going on right now all around us because we are so consumed with injustices of the past. Besides, we rae more likely to stir up the racial division and the violent street drama George Soros wants by rehashing past injustices, making everyone feel guilty, and punishing the majority. Instead of fighting against current slavery and gross injustice in a way that could save and heal countless lives, families, marriages, and cultures, we will accept financial donations from nations who encourage and support human trafficking. We will preserve and expand pornography and lewd entertainment both in pop music culture and in darker corners of the internet, child pornography, and pedophilia in the name of free speech, free love, and free sexual expression, no matter how violent or inhumane, to increase the demand for trafficked victims. Those who fund us profit most when we support sexual slavery, and those of us who choose to indulge in the lusts of the flesh enjoy the easy access, so it’s a win/win.
America is not great and never has been great. Thus, America must be punished, weakened, marginalized and depressed so that the U.S. can no longer bring freedom, hope, healing, and charity to suffering people around the world. The weaker America becomes, the more our wealthy, corrupt sugar daddies can radically transform America into vassal nation with no foundation of morality, no respect for the traditional family or the stability it brings to a nation, no rule of law, no respect for others, and no order at all. In such a helpless estate, America will be poised and ready to become slaves to a corrupt, unaccountable, powerful, tyrannical global government.
We ordinary outsiders whom progressives failed to consider during the 2016 election, are ruled by truth and common sense instead of progressive indoctrination and feelings, so we see the progressive agenda differently than they do. It is an extremely clever strategy, especially as it has infiltrated schools, churches, and the media to totally transform how and what people think, but we wonder if the individuals who buy into
this movement are being duped by their masters, or if they are
deliberately allowing themselves to be used as pawns to dismantle
America and to further the globalists' dream of uniting the entire world
under their authority. Such a notion may seem like a radical right wing conspiracy theory, but after 30 years of observing compounding evidence and perusing recent WikiLeaks and FBI reports, it is almost impossible to refute. This 15 minute video provides a quick summary of all those years of evidence and outlines the globalists' strategy.
The Bible provides God's opinion on globalism in the book of Genesis. God initially created the earth to be one global community under His perfectly loving, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent reign, but the fall of man corrupted that perfect design. The Tower of Babel account in Genesis 11: 1-11 shows man's attempt to unite as one global community, filled with pride and lust for power. In His mercy, God disrupted their plans and spread the people out into unique nations with different languages to prevent them from become slaves to all- powerful, unaccountable, corrupt, global rulers. When Christ returns to judge the earth, He will establish a unified kingdom, but peace, unity, and goodness are only possible under His reign, for only He is completely righteous, all knowing, and perfect in love and grace. Only God Himself can rightly manage that much power in truth and justice. Until he returns, antichrists will come and go. They will deny the truth, reject God, and seek to rule over people as gods. But believers must be discerning and reject false teaching. It should come as no surprise that George Soros and his posse of globalists, coming together under Soros' Open Society Foundation (aka Open Borders Society), are secular humanists who despise God and deceive and destroy that which God created for good.
7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them.11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work. (2 John 2: 7-11)
My biggest frustration with this entire election season and politics in general is how much
voting is based on opinion instead of facts. We should all agree
that the media is biased, so the tendency is to pick and choose media
outlets that share our bias instead of researching the facts for
ourselves to verify that it is true. I try to practice the 5-step validation process I shared in a blog post previously to check
what I post here to ensure that it is valid, but it takes time, so I
still have plenty of information to verify and fact check before sharing
more here.
When the FBI releases their report of findings from the Clinton email and Clinton Foundation investigations, we will have confirmed information (much of which is already available and verified through WikiLeaks's released emails) which NONE OF US (not even Clinton's most
vehement opponents) wants to be true. These facts will matter far
more than the candidates' personalities or character and possibly more than their party platform goals. The truth in these cases has the potential to negatively impact every
single American regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, religion,
or political affiliation. Even though what is on the line crosses all
party lines, how we vote in the POTUS race should directly impact the long
term outcome.
I would like to hint at those findings by parsing through today's headlines to find a few key facts. (Note: Facts, not opinions, are what truly matter, so verify everything) The FBI claims they are 99% confident that their findings
will result in an indictment of Hillary (and likely Huma, Weiner, Podesta, Lynch, Mills, and
others). Emails released by WikiLeaks reveal coordinated collusion between the DOJ and the White House to ensure that Hillary was not indicted even though
Comey listed a large number of felonies committed through her careless handling of sensitive email on national television, and it's all summarized in FBI reports found here. So assuming this collusion
continues, we can expect repeated interference from Lynch to thwart justice on the reopened email investigation and the Clinton Foundation investigation as well.
Clinton supporters prefer to
ignore WikiLeaks despite the growing evidence (Colin Powell, Donna Brazile, Debbie Wasserman-Shultz) that validates the authenticity and
accuracy of these leaked emails. They also insist the FBI investigation
into the Clinton Foundation, which has been going on for a year now, is a
political stunt to impact the elections. They insist the CF does a lot
of good work and that all the accusations are both false and politically
motivated.
So how do we know who is telling the truth? Can we
trust the FBI reports and verified WikiLeaks over defensive comments by the candidates
and pundits who have so much at stake? Common sense would say "of course not". Another way to make an objective
assessment is to follow the money. Clinton Foundation financials are
available at online. These
financials only list the money that goes directly to the Foundation.
The $68 million or more of personal contributions channeled to Bill and Hillary privately through the shakedown scandal uncovered by WikiLeaks
and reported by the NY Times,MSBNC and others are NOT included in these
financials. This is strictly Foundation money. In 2013, the most
recent financials I found, the CF spent 57% of the revenue the took
in. Of the Foundation's total
expenditures, they only gave away 10% via grants (6% in the US and
4% overseas). We will not discuss how the money they actually gave away
was used (though there is mounting testimony indicating that it went
to support friends or donors with associated business interests instead
of actually helping people in need). Let's only consider the facts from the financial statements which I have summarized in the image below.
Compare the Clinton Foundation financials to
the Trump Foundation financials to get an idea of what we should expect
to see from a non-profit charitable foundation used to consolidate and
channel contributions to worthy causes.
So who gives money to
a charitable organization with operating costs so high that only 10% of their
expenses (or 6% of their revenues) actually go toward charitable grants? The list of CF donors are provided on the CF website and on the
financial statement to some extent. Some (or many) of these donors have
personal, business, political, or radical Islamic interests that a
Secretary of State or POTUS could assist through the use of federal
resources and high level government influence. If the money goes
directly to the Clintons and bypasses the CF to the tune of the $68M
reported, imagine how much of America these donors could buy? Uranium deals for Russia? Executive pardons? Prison closures? Open
borders? Weapons for ISIS? Refusal to send help despite repeated calls for help and insistence from the Pentagon to cover up the arms transfer? that was ready and available despite Immigration papers for known terrorists? A
nuclear deal with Iran? Positions of power within the US government? Removal from the terrorist watch list?
Access to critical persons of interest? Fetal body parts from Planned
Parenthood? Human trafficking assistance? Classified information?
(Side Note: The FBI confirmed
that five different foreign intelligent agencies accessed Clinton's emails, some rated at the
highest possible security classification, which gives them enough
information to do irreparable harm.)
19 Do
not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a
bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent.20 Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you. (Deuteronomy 16: 19-21)
Please also
consider that when a government entity contributes funds to any organization, whether schools, healthcare, banks, car manufacturers, etc., then the
government takes ownership interest in it. Common Core forced federal
control over our schools. Obamacare puts our healthcare in the
government's hands. Similarly, when foreign countries invest in America
by donating to the CF or by paying the the Clinton couple directly, they take ownership of America. That includes our people, our resources, and our security. Ownership of America by other nations equates to control by other nations. Foreign money and political corruption for personal profit directly contributed to the fall of Rome, by the way.
While the FBI is expected to present scathing and undeniable evidence of numerous, far reaching, and excessive white-collar crimes through the Clinton Foundation, we cannot expect the selling off of America for the personal profit by the Clintons or any other
Washington elite to stop or be punished as long as the DOJ continues in collusion with the Clintons, bypassing our nation's laws to forbid indictment. The only ways we can help stop this corruption that I can see (please enlighten me
of others as I am no expert)
so that justice can be meted and so that America can be reclaimed for
everyone (consider again how CF corruption hurts all Americans, without
respect to political party) are as follows:
Vote against
Hillary. Yes that means a vote for Trump, no matter how one may despise
his character or the allegations against him, which thankfully, are
mostly either unproven or have been retracted (except for the lewd
comments he admitted and apologized for) so that Trump can replace Lynch
who has consistently demonstrated intent to block prosecution. Would the quote, "Desperate times call for desperate measures apply here?"
Support the ACLJand any other legal firms with the expertise and respect for law and justice to
successfully prosecute the DOJ and all guilty parties in court. We
must consider, however, that any case that makes it to the Supreme Court could
still be thrown out if the new POTUS elects a pro-corruption,
Pro-Clinton justice. See previous bullet point.
Pray for God's truth and justice to prevail with full confidence in the one true God who can do all things!
"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry
and saves them." (Psalm 145:18-19)
This post is addressed specifically to fellow conservative evangelical Christians.
Since I've suddenly become so vocal about politics and have honestly
shared my struggles with this term's presidential campaign, I want to
issue an apology and an appeal for the sake of unity. I am sorry if my
words and opinions have offended you. I'm not looking to call anyone out but myself
as I wrestle, particularly with the choice between two candidates who do
not adequately represent my values or what I believe to be in the best long term interests of our nation and the world.
I am persuaded that during the primary campaigns, most of us were in the "Never Trump" camp. He won
the Republican nomination as a result of constant media coverage, too many excellent but similar options on the ticket which divided our votes, and record numbers of crossover voters (who I am guessing wanted him as our candidate because
they saw him as most divisive, easiest to smear, and least likely to beat Hillary).
We have vocally expressed our commitment to upholding integrity,
morality, and especially sexual purity as God designed it (with good
reason, for both the Bible and world history show us how sexual
immorality so significantly impacts and marks the collapse of families,
communities, and nations), and the DNC knows our stance quite well.
Christians overall are the largest voter segment, so if we all unite
around one candidate (and actually make the effort to vote, although over 25 million of us who are registered to vote didn't even bother), we are very likely to get the leader we want.
Thus, the DNC strategy has been to divide us. What better way to divide
us than over issues vs. character? The DNC & media could have
focused their smear campaign on any number of issues (such as lack of
experience), but the media has spent 90% of their time attacking Trump's
character, particularly with regard to immoral sexual comments he made
many years ago, to keep us conflicted.
I take it as a good sign
if we have wrestled with this dilemma because it means we care enough to
truly think through the issues while considering Trump's advisors, recent
decisions, professed platform (recognizing inconsistencies in his past), trustworthiness, behavior/temperament, history, and accomplishments. It means we have considered what Trump might do to the Republican
party and compared it to what we confidently expect (based on a lifetime of experience in political corruption and undeniably alarming revelations through WikiLeaks and Veritas) Hillary to do the America, her Constitution, liberty, and the entire world. Surely we can each understand why some of our fellow brothers and
sisters in Christ would support Trump based on the critical issues at
stake any why others wish to abstain. Let us respect one another without condemnation with regard to disputable matters. (Reference Romans 14.)
Each light represents a crowded theater filled Christians united together in prayer and worship on October 18 at 9:00 p.m.
As (If) the DNC effectively achieves their goal of politically dividing us, we
MUST refuse to let them divide us as a body of believers. Believers who are united under the Lordship of Christ can win back America as one nation under God whether the government grants us religious freedom or not. If God is for us, who can stand against us?
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
However, if we divide as a
church, then George Soros and all his secular progressive minions will have won
the battle they care about most. But all glory to God, they cannot win
the war, for Christ has already won the war! (John 12:30-36)
Love one another
with sincere hearts, dear family of faith, and preserve the unity of the
body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12) No matter how each one of us votes, let's remember that
we are members of the same family forever through the blood of
Christ. . No matter who rules over us on the earth, we are all under the
authority of the perfectly righteous King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and
Savior of all the World. Let us fix our eyes on Him and uphold His
unchanging truth, and He will unite us.
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12)
To those still
struggling (as I have this election in particular) with the question of
how to vote if you're not comfortable choosing the lesser of evils
because it still feels like choosing evil, consider that we live in a
fallen world which regularly presents us with a choice between two
evils. Some choices, such as which route to take home during rush hour when you know both routes will tempt you to have unwholesome thoughts, may not seem as bad as this election. Other choices involve much higher stakes. If an
intruder breaks into your home with plans to assault your spouse
or children, will you choose to shoot the intruder or let him have his
way with your beloved family? Both options seem evil, but you can't
just stand there refusing to choose either option because
the perpetrator will certainly choose for you! When given a cancer
diagnosis, the choice between traditional chemo treatments vs. another non-FDA approved alternative approach will feel like a choice between evils. If you choose neither, cancer will ravage your body. Whatever you decide or don't decide in any lesser of evils decision, let us remember that God could intervene at any time in any way he chooses. Any choice, even a choice between two evils, that is ultimately decided by trusting in God's sovereign will and faithfully following His leading glorifies the Lord. He sees the motivations and longings of our hearts which matter more to Him than the fact that neither choice is ideal.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2)
Let us humbly and honestly consider ourselves as we evaluate imperfect presidential candidates. I asked myself, "Do I consider myself too moral to vote for a
platform I know our country desperately needs to preserve
democracy, the Constitution, religious freedom, and the very lives of
persecuted people around the world simply because the candidate
representing that platform offended us with something he said over a
decade ago? Have I no words in my past which I wish I could take back?" I most certainly do, and without Christ I am nothing. The choices began to look different for me when I weighed the Trump's character in light of my own shortcomings.
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. (Romans 12:2-3)
Eric Metaxas reminded me of William Wilberforce and Dietrich Bonhoeffer who chose to immerse
themselves in corrupt worldly systems so they could stand for what was
right with the goal of freeing the oppressed. God's word led them to
stand for truth, justice, and life despite the evil they had to
encounter in the process. So God's word has great power to bring about change even through corrupt human systems.
I was also reminded of the way God has used wretched men throughout history who He humbled and brought to repentance. The more I learn from wise God fearing men who Trump has chosen as his advisors, the more encouraged I am that he is closer to repentance than he has ever been before. I wrote more about how the hope of repentance influenced my decision here.
When Trump first won the RNC ticket, I considered a
write-in as a way to voice my opposition to both candidates and to
draw attention to the type of leader we truly want. However, I reconsidered as I learned more about how much is at stake in this election. I live in a swing
state where every vote counts, and write-ins are not even considered in my state, unless they are for Jill Stein. If I even want the opportunity to vote for a truly conservative candidate who upholds Christian values in the next election, the I have to focus now on battling the overwhelming corruption that is overtaking our country and plucking away are freedoms. As sad as it is to admit, Trump is the only candidate with a chance of pushing back the stronghold of corruption in federal government apart from God's supernatural intervention. The more I prayed and learned (not from the media's propaganda machine but through Wikileaks and those with direct information), the more convinced I became personally that I must use my vote, the only earthly power I have, to help stop Hillary Clinton.
Frankly,
this election is not about me or my preferences. It's much bigger that
my family and my own personal concerns. When I consider the slaughters,
the persecutions, the unstoppable corruption and outright treason throughout the federal government, the out of control
violence and division, the economic crisis, the international crises threatening nuclear war,
the freedoms (religious freedom especially) on the chopping block, the
expansion of abortion into infanticide territory with Supreme Court
Justices (Ginsberg especially) who support eugenics, new support for "post birth abortion" as they call it, the plot to divide Catholics, the attack on conservative Catholics and evangelicals which includes insistence that they change their beliefs about abortion, Hillary's desire to repeal the Hyde Amendment, Obama's attempts to force religious groups to pay for the abortion pill through Obamacare, lawsuits that resulting in fining Christian businesses for refusing to participate in gay marriage ceremonies, and new pressure to cater to Obama's transgender bathroom mandate, it's just all so much bigger
than any of my personal objections to a man's temperament or past words.
Judge me all you want, but the more I dig up information that clearly counters the mainstream narrative fed to the media by the DNC to smear Trump, the more convinced I am that I have to vote with the "deplorables"
even if the DNC election rigging schemes (verified by Project Veritas Action) are not stopped. The
vote and continued uncovering of the truth are all we have left in
terms of human power. But prayer is always our greatest resource, for the Almighty God has all authority and all power to deliver us.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. (1 Chronicles 29:11-12, (NLT)
7 But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare...
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfareand not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:7, 11-13)
Addendum
As I have openly and honestly described my own struggle with this election dilemma, I am concerned that my words or opinions may have offended members of God's precious family of faith. So I have issued and apology and an appeal for unity on the next blog posting found here.
Earlier today, I was sitting in my hairdresser's chair feeling
betrayed by Hillary and the Obama administration (AGAIN!) as I caught up
on the recent Wikileaks, specifically the John Podesta emails, which indicate that Hillary either knew or claimed that "Qatar and Saudi Arabia were providing
clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL". Meanwhile Hillary
continued to collect millions of dollars from both Qatar and Saudia Arabia. (Saudia
Arabia has bragged that they funded 20% of Clinton's campaign with estimates over $25 million.)
while also running guns (funded by US taxpayers) to ISIL rebels. So
we're arming the people who are brutally butchering and massacring
innocent people all over the world and right here in America while
severing our relationship with the nation that should be our closest
ally, Israel.
I already
felt betrayed by voters who picked someone with a crude tongue, loose
morals, and a wild temper who made some of his fortune by catering to
the destructive personal vices of Americans (gambling, objectification
of women) as the RNC candidate. The betrayal that stung was by the evangelical Christians who did not bother to vote at
all in the primaries leaving us with the motivated angry mob's choice ,
who also got help from DNC crossover voters. All this scandal with Hillary
Clinton and the Obama administration, however, was just too much betrayal, or perhaps treason would be the better word, to
handle.
But then....I heard the lovely accent of a tall,
tattooed, Jordanian hairdresser next to me sweetly sharing God's word
and the truth that Jesus is the Messiah with his client. As I heard him say, "He is the Alpha and the Omega", I
remembered that Jesus never has and never will betray us or forsake us.
God is still at work all around us accomplishing His eternal purposes in
the lives of each of us. He hears our prayers. He knows our fears. He
feels our pain. He comforts the broken, and He is coming again. Jesus
will never fail us! Look up, my friends. Our hope is in Christ alone!
26 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:26-27)
This picture was taken during our January trip to Israel from the
Israeli shore of the Dead Sea and shows Jordan, this blessed, joyful
hairdresser's home, in the background. That hairdresser had fled to
Egypt all alone at age 12 and surely experienced much heartache and
suffering. When I went back later to thank Him for speaking God's TRUTH
that saves in love and with boldness, that towering, intimidating
looking man, looked down at me with tears in his eyes and with the voice
of such grateful humility said, "Don't thank me. Thank Him! Jesus
saved me!" Such joy...such unspeakable joy I beheld in his beautiful
face!
As described in the previous post, the purpose of this blog series is to debunk the myth that pro-life Christians only care about the unborn and not the born while looking for ways to bring both sides of the abortion issue together to provide better services for more people. This post will examine various approaches for caring for women on both sides of the abortion issue and show how pro-life Christians extend love to women in crisis pregnancy situations in ways that help women not just during their crisis but for the rest of their lives.
When a woman suspects she could be pregnant and that pregnancy is considered a crisis for her, she will typically seek help from any of the following:
1) Her doctor
2) A government funded, free or low-cost health care clinic
3) Planned Parenthood
4) A faith-based pregnancy life care center
Given that Obamacare was supposed to provide health insurance for everyone, including those who cannot afford it, any woman should have access to comprehensive health care during crisis pregnancy situations. She may visit her general practitioner or gynecologist, or she may seek out free or reduced cost health care clinics such as those listed at www.womenshealth.gov. Non-profit clinics supported by generous donors instead of government grants have more flexibility to manage operations in ways that most effectively meet the needs of their clients. The Neighborhood Christian Clinic is a full service health care facility that has been serving as a role model for other facilities around the country. Alliance Defending Freedom developed the map below to show the locations of over 13,540 clinics providing comprehensive health care for women.
The most popular women's resource among pro-choice advocates is Planned Parenthood. As favors continue to be bought and sold between Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and the Obama administration and the Clinton Foundation, government funding of Planned Parenthood has been increasing. For example, government funding increased from 33% in 2009 to 46.5% in 2010, which equated to $1.3 million per day, according to STOPP research's analysis of Planned Parenthood's annual reports. Even some pro-life voters support government funding of Planned Parenthood since the organization provides sex education, birth control, pap smears and other cancer screenings (but not mammograms), and STD testing. They believe Planned Parenthood's prevention services are reducing abortion rates, but PPFA's business model actually provides incentives for increasing in the number of abortions provided.
These abortion revenues are a key concern for pro-life Christians, not
simply because abortion destroys sacred, innocent, defenseless human life, but because these revenues motivate PPFA
to increase abortion revenue through methods that are deceptive,
manipulative, unloving, and cruel. As an example, reference this previous blog post. It explains one strategy International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) uses for increasing number of abortions. IPPF reaches out to children as young as 9 years old with pamphlets that encourage adolescents and teens to engage in risky sexual activity while IPPF actively
opposes legislation requiring parental consent. PPFA provides low quality contraception while assuring clients their products will make sex safe. (PPFA's condoms were determined to be the lowest quality out of 23 brands Consumer Reports tested for effectiveness.) The truth is that unmarried sex is never safe. Many of
these methods put women and children at risk of great physical,
psychological, and emotional harm while mistreating, misleading, and
dehumanizing women. Women in crisis first and foremost need loving compassion
and comprehensive counseling, not pressure to immediately have an abortion.
Planned Parenthood advocates insist the organization helps women by preventing unplanned pregnancy and thereby decreasing abortion rates, but a closer look reveals the opposite.
The following video shows how Planned Parenthood has increased the number of abortions it provides and continues increasing its overall market share in the abortion industry.
Personal testimonies and undercover videos expose the fact that Planned Parenthood workers force women into choosing abortion. When women ask about other options, PPFA workers insist that abortion is really their only option. Clients are not informed of all the short term and long term risks of abortion, nor are they made aware of the long term benefits and resources available to support women who would prefer to carry their babies to term. Testimonies supporting these claims from women who were pressured by Planned Parenthood to have an abortion can be found here, here, and here. If a woman's right to choose is PPFA's platform and battle cry, then shouldn't they give women more than one option so women can actually have a choice?
The ideal first point of contact for women in crisis is a faith-based pregnancy life
care center. With 5-years of experience as a volunteer for centers under the Care Net umbrella, I have seen first-hand the life changing impact these centers are having on the lives of women. I will primarily share about Care Net programs and services, but women have plenty of other wonderful faith based options as well such as Life Call or Birthline/Lifeline Pregnancy Centers. Click on these links to find a center near you. These centers are unique in that unlike Planned Parenthood and all the secular and/or government funded options, these centers provide what women need first and foremost in the midst of a pregnancy crisis, and they offer all their services FREE OF CHARGE! These centers collectively provide all of the services below, but any center should provide most of them.

Abortion recovery programs
The decision to abort, parent, or adopt will impact a woman for the rest
of her life. Since this decision is so important, it is imperative that
the mother not make the decision hastily or in a state of panic,
desperation, anxiety, fear, or desperation, lest regret haunt her for decades. To make a wise decision a
woman needs all the facts about all her options, but she also needs to know the absolute truths about her sacred identity and her infinite worth. Far too many women find themselves in a crisis pregnancy situation because they went looking for love, affirmation, and acceptance in all the wrong places. We look for opportunities to show these women how much God loves them and to share with them His perfect plan for their lives while actively demonstrating that love in the ways we care for them. Our first priority when a client comes into our office (which typically looks and feels more like a warm and inviting home instead of cold clinic surrounded by barbed wire fence as was the case for the abortion clinic next door to the women's center where I volunteered) is to listen and comfort her spirit. While licensed nurses perform ultrasounds or conduct pregnancy and/or STD tests, we empathize with these women while offering them support and encouragement. We listen to their many questions, and answer objectively, laying out all the options while noting the pros and cons for each one.
While Planned Parenthood's abortion quotas result in high pressure tactics to push as many women through the abortion mill as fast as possible with counseling sessions that present abortion as the only reasonable option, staff at these pregnancy life care centers are open and honest about each scenario. They exude peace and calm to quiet the client's anxious spirit so she can think more clearly through her options.
While the hope is each woman will choose not to abort, we respect her decision without judgment, remind her that we are always here for her, and invite her back to join one of our abortion recovery programs if needed. We build relationships with women and follow-up with them, if they give us permission, to make sure their needs are met and to continue offering support and services as needed. We serve these women knowing that our job is to love these women unconditionally as Christ loves the church. While it may be our desire to save her baby, only God has the power to direct a woman's heart, so we leave that responsibility to Him. When the primary goal is to love like Jesus without any pressure to accomplish what only God can do or to meet quotas, women always benefit, regardless of what option they choose.
These centers are entirely funded by faith filled donors and primarily staffed by community volunteers who have completed extensive background checks and rigorous training. A key value communicated through each training session and upheld daily
in the clinics is that the mothers are our primary concern. This is not
to say that we do not care about the baby, but just as flight
attendants instruct parents to put the oxygen mask on themselves first
before putting a mask on their children, we minister to the mother's
needs first with the hope of saving both the mother and the child from
heartache and/or devastation.
The Board of Directors for each facility or community network are comprised of like-minded community leaders who volunteer their time to guide ministry staff and volunteers, hold directors and office managers accountable to the core values and vision, and make strategic decisions to ensure the centers are effectively meeting needs and serving women with the love of Christ. By avoiding the corrupting influences of government money and control and eliminating the pressure of quotas or monetary incentives, these centers can focus instead on delivering the highest level of service for their clients motivated out of a sincere and unconditional love for hurting women.
I have also had the privilege of volunteering as a buddy and as an adoption educator for a faith based maternity home, which receives referrals from faith based pregnancy life care centers, and ministry partners and friends. These maternity homes provide loving nurture and room and board to women in unplanned pregnancy situations who choose to carry their babies to term. Typically, up to eight women will live in a large home at a time with a married couples serving as house parents who lead the clients as if they are all part of a family. Family meals, evening devotions, basic chores to teach personal responsibility, life skills training, birth classes, parenting and adoption classes, counseling, medical needs, and mentoring are all included. These homes provide an oasis for women where they can process through all their thoughts and feelings while separated from negative influences or competing voices, make decisions regarding parenting or adoption, reset the direction for their lives, set goals, and establish a plan for pursing a healthy, productive, fulfilling life.
To be pro-life is to love women unconditionally, intentionally, sacrificially, and wholeheartedly. The DNC's support of Planned Parenthood does the opposite by deceiving, manipulating, and abusing women for selfish financial gain. The corruption found throughout Planned Parenthood is like leaven in that it will only increase causing more women and children to suffer. Gosnell's crimes against women and children seemed extreme, but he wasn't an isolated case as numerous women have testified, and similar stories will continue to surface as liberal, abortion minded-Supreme Court Justices knock down legislation designed to make abortion facilities safer for women. As federal funding enables Planned Parenthood to expand its operations, women will be more likely to turn to PPFA first instead of to more ethical, loving, helpful alternatives. For these reasons, conservative pro-life Christians are voting against the DNC in favor of party platforms that support defunding Planned Parenthood.
As a compromise between the two sides, money currently given to Planned Parenthood could be redirected to more trustworthy comprehensive healthcare centers that do not profit by performing abortions or by receiving kickbacks for abortion referrals. The video below counters Planned Parenthood's outrageous and deceptive argument against this proposal.
These healthcare centers should be measured by how well they treat patients with incentives for reducing abortion and disease as opposed to PPFA's incentive plan which seeks to provide more abortions. Contraception could be provided by these centers but in a way that respects religious liberty. Clients should be educated enough to understand how to use contraceptives correctly, typical failure rates, health risks, and how contraceptives work so that clients can make informed decisions consistent with their religious beliefs. For example, those who believe life begins at conception would need to know enough to avoid the IUD, the pill, ring, and other hormone methods that prevent implantation. While there would still be plenty of doctors who would be willing to perform abortions, doctors should not be forced to perform abortions against their religious convictions and against the original Hippocratic Oath they swore to uphold.
The next installment will debunk the myth that conservative pro-life Christians care more about the unborn than people of various ages, stages, races, genders, abilities and special needs. It will present the big picture perspective used by compassionate pro-life Christians to provide the most meaningful, loving, long term care, support, and benefit for the most people in a more ethical manner than the DNC's quick fix, band-aid proposals.
With Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton (HRC) as the major party candidates for the 2016 U.S. presidential race, American voters are facing a major moral dilemma. Both candidates have shown themselves to be arrogant, brash, deceitful, and self-serving. Neither adequately reflects the values of his or her party. With Trump's past support of both Democratic candidates and liberal social issues, he seems more like the Democrats' choice for the Republican nominee than the Republican's choice, effected primarily through media steering and crossover voters. Conservative Republicans especially oppose him. He has an erratic history on abortion issues, but he now claims to stand with his party's pro-life platform. Yet, the disrespectful and crude comments he has made toward women, those with disabilities, Muslims, and illegal immigrants are making it difficult for compassionate, pro-life people of faith to vote for him with a clean conscious.
While Trump leans to the left of the Republican party platform, HRC leans to the left of the Democratic party, reflecting the anti-Christian, socialistic, "ends justify any means" ideals of her mentor, Saul Alinsky. Guided by Alinsky's book, Rules for Radicals, HRC's history of corruption exceeds any elected official before her, at least in the past century, although her husband's scandal list is certainly long enough. Lies, scandals (22 biggest HRC scandals described here), and corruption have been the most consistent traits of her entire career. In just the past few weeks, evidence has been brought forth to prove "pay for play" abuses of power as Secretary of State, high stakes bribery and fraud in the way she used the Clinton Foundation to accept large donations from American enemies with deplorable human rights practices and even 96% of her own charitable contributions (tax evasion) under the ruse of charity when almost all of the contributions were pocketed by her nuclear family, multiple counts of felony and perjury regarding her email scandals (full testimony here) putting every American at risk (at least one spy has already been killed). Recent HRC email releases by WikiLeaks prove that she led the effort to arm ISIS groups in Syria, and lied about it repeatedly under oath even while letting four American patriots die in Benghazi to cover her misdeeds. Yet, justice has not and will not be meted against her because her corruption is so vast that those with the power to prosecute her refuse. Or perhaps she's just employing Alinsky's first rule. Whatever the case, it's working to her favor.
“Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, Rule #1
Meanwhile, petty officers like First Class Kristian Saucier who committed much lesser crimes with no impact on national security and no impact on anyone's life whatsoever, are facing jail time. Imagine how someone with such a heart of corruption will manage national security and utilize taxpayer dollars as POTUS.
Clearly, both candidates leave a bitter taste in the mouths of voters. The two third party candidates are drawing more support than usual, but both are social liberals and pro-choice providing no good compromise for pro-life voters. Evan McMullin, just entered the race as a pro-life (from womb to tomb) independent candidate, but he entered the race so late, he may not even be on the ballot in some states.
Recently, there has been a push by self-described pro-life or "pro-lives" voters such as Rachel Held Evans to justify a vote for Hillary Clinton by upholding what they consider to be a more enlightened definition of the term "pro-life". (View rebuttal to Rachel Held Evans' post from a Christian perspective here). Their definition is no different from what "pro-life" has always meant, at least to committed Christians, except for one tragic difference. They emphasize government support or aid programs that support life after birth as being more pro-life than simply opposing abortion itself. For liberal leaning pro-lifers, it is not just morally acceptable, but morally superior to support a candidate and party who are vehement activists for abortion at any stage, for any reason, and with taxpayer funding if that candidate has at any time in her life helped promote aid programs they like or need. While I have no desire to discredit these programs which may very well be valuable, necessary, and effective (although efficiency, cost effectiveness, and sincere love or compassion are usually lacking when the government gets involved), I do want to point out that the key difference between this liberal view and that of more conservative pro-life voters is that they see these social programs as offsetting the crime of abortion which brutally and painfully dismembers the most vulnerable members of society.
40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25:40)
This perspective says, "I can still be pro-life and vote for a corrupt pro-choice candidate if that candidate has ever been involved in social programs that matter to me or to those I love or empathize with most."
"And [Jesus] said to them, 'You are
those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For
what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.' " (Luke 16:15)
Unfortunately, those social programs, no matter how wonderful they may be, were not the primary issues touted at the DNC Convention. Making on-demand abortions at any stage of pregnancy convenient and available to all women in the US and abroad is the primary focus of the DNC, beginning with the repeal of the Hyde Amendment, as emphasized during the first day of the DNC convention. The first day of the Democratic Convention seemed less like an American political rally and more like a sacrificial worship celebration honoring Molech in which speakers and attendees celebrated the fact that they threw their babies into the fire (aka "aborted" them) in worship of the pagan god with the hope that the god would give them what they wanted, personal, short-term convenience.
"You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord." (Leviticus 18:21)
An Aside: Do the Unborn Have Rights? HRC claimed that the "unborn person doesn't have any Constitutional Rights"
according to Roe V. Wade, but the constitutionality of the Roe V. Wade verdict continues to be highly controversial. Roe V. Wade uses an
implied right to privacy not specifically enumerated in the Constitution (the 9th amendment refers these rights to the states and the people) but expressed in precedent cases to override the most fundamental and
most valued human right upheld by people around the world throughout
history, the right to life. The Roe V. Wade verdict claimed that a
woman's dominion over her body gives her the right to abort while
contradicting the 9th and 10th Amendments and in some respects the 14th
Amendment. The Court denied the personhood of the fetus as a way of
getting around the Due Process Clause and Equal Protection Clause.
However, medical advancements and ultrasound technology have removed
the question of personhood from the debate. Hillary admitted the
unborn's personhood with this statement quoted above, but in so doing,
she denied equal rights for all persons. HRC admitted the humanity of the unborn while insisting the right of the mother to choose is more important
than the right of the baby in her womb to live. This perspective
implies that the value of each individual life is relative such that
some lives are more or less valuable than others. This eugenics mindset
is a recurring theme in liberal policy just as it was the primary point
of advocacy for Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood who was highly praised by Hillary Clinton.
The
rights of the unborn are still affirmed by English common law, fetal homicide
statutes, Embryonic Law, and the ultimate authority on the law for Christians, God's word. (Psalm 139:13-16, Jeremiah 1:5)
Even though Hillary Clinton's abuses of power are unmatched and despite having a lengthy history of corruption, deceit, fraud, bribery, scandals, treason, and perjury, people still support her. She has connections to dozens of people (or possibly over a 100) who mysteriously died after becoming involved in efforts to expose her, but people still praise her. And despite her extreme abortion activism, some pro-life voters still endorse her because they believe short term social programs, especially those they believe will reduce abortion rates, offset efforts to expand an industry that already kills a million babies a year. This belief that they are taking the moral high ground is rooted in the assumption that pro-life conservatives are anti-abortion only and do not show equal concern for women or for any minority or marginalized people after they are born. This perception that "pro-life" only means "anti-abortion" has been largely circulated by the left-leaning media, but the notion is false. Compassionate, conservative Christians are not pro-life because they are anti-abortion. They are anti-abortion because they are pro-life.We are for all life, regardless of race, ethnicity, sin struggle, economic status, age, or ability, and the goal of this blog series is to prove it! Unlike the progressive eugenicists, we view all human life as equally valuable. We treasure both children and elders as gifts from the Lord. We do not rank life on a worthiness scale, for we recognize that each and every life has been fearfully and wonderfully created (Psalm 139:14) for a perfect, divine purpose (Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11). We are not just for life itself; we strive to equip and lead all people to a joyous, abundant life.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." (John 10:10)
While my disgust with HRC should already be obvious, I am not strongly for any candidate; hence, my moral dilemma. But I will oppose senseless murdering of innocent children until the day I die, not just for their sake but for the sake of the living, for how we regard the most vulnerable lives within our ability to protect them directly impacts how we value all life.
This blog series is not seeking to create more political division, for America is certainly divided enough already. The BBC and Pew Research Center described American politics as "more
like 'alien tribes' than rival parties....because hyper-partisan news
and social media enables them to live in ideological isolation - they
don't even have to try to understand it." In the interest of bringing more understanding, I intend to counter this false assumption by describing the full meaning of "pro-life" from the perspective of those who are first and foremost Christians. Biblical truth and personal encounters with God lead people like me to a more conservative political approach toward pro-life issues, but we are Christians first. I hope that by showing how pro-life, conservative Christians care for mothers, families, children, elderly, minorities, and the oppressed, we can begin crossing political boundaries and working together to provide better solutions for more people instead of wasting time and energy bickering. (I realize this goal could prove difficult if HRC continues following Alinsky's model, for he insisted that all life is partisan, but I'm trusting not all HRC supporters feel the same way.)
In the interest of full disclosure, I should note that I am all of the following:
a committed follower of Christ for over 35 years
a devoted wife to one man for life through the Christian marriage covenant
a busy mother of active young children
a former volunteer at various crisis pregnancy centers
a former volunteer and current "as-needed" adoption presenter for a faith based maternity home for women in crisis who choose not to abort
the product of an unplanned pregnancy that occurred during Roe V. Wade deliberations who was born too late for legal abortion had that been a consideration
a former orphan who lived in a foster home
an adoptee via closed adoption with a personal testimony that screams of God's goodness, grace, and sovereignty
My life experiences have shaped my opinions just as every person's unique life experiences shape theirs. I have done lots of research, however, and I will do my best to support my points with accurate data, verified testimonies, and reliable video footage. I hope that by sharing this data and personal testimony, areas of mutual agreement can be found to curb political division and to establish more loving options, services, and support not just for mothers in crisis, but for all who suffer from the same types of trauma, heartache, and desperation which are often rooted in the same unmet need for unconditional love, acceptance, and the absolute truths which are uniquely fitted to fill the deepest longings of the heart and soul.
The next installment will look at loving ways pro-life Christians are addressing those deepest needs to prevent unplanned pregnancy and to support women in crisis both in their current situation and for the long-term.
