Safe and Secure When Father is Near

As I watch my children grow up and try to prepare them for all the burdens, pressures, fears, and responsibilities that accompany adulthood, I'm reminded of how safe, secure, fearless, and carefree I was as a child when my daddy was near. He prepared a home for me and provided all my needs. My children also experience great peace and security when their father is close.

Awakening to all the harsh realities of this fallen world is tough. Even the best earthly fathers cannot be there for us all the time. Their time is limited, and work calls them away from home. They make mistakes and have regrets. They get sick and become tired. They grow weak and frail, and their children must eventually face the world without their daddy by their side.

Earthly fathers are an imperfect reflection of our perfect heavenly Father who goes with us wherever we go. He never leaves us or forsakes us and casts out all fear (Deuteronomy 31:8). Our heavenly Father isn't just near us, He indwells those who trust in Him and receive Christ as Savior. He protects, comforts, encourages, strengthens, and provides all our needs. He fully satisfies us and prepares a perfect home for us in Heaven forever. He never grows weak or tired. (Isaiah 40:28-31) His unconditional love is everlasting. His power, knowledge, and wisdom are infinite. Therefore, we need not worry or be afraid. We need only gaze upon the goodness, greatness, and bigness of God to understand how tiny our problems really are. May we draw on His strength to face our fears and relish His presence, enjoying sweet fellowship with Him made possible by Christ's shed blood for us.

May we come to Him as little children, free and fearless because we trust Him and know Him intimately. Who's your daddy? He's the King of Kings, Creator, Savior, omnipotent Lord over all.

Ode to all the babies killed by Herod and Planned Parenthood

While listening to The Coventry Carol at church yesterday, I pondered the lyrics.


It's a lullaby (based on Matthew 2:18) to all the male babies throughout the kingdom aged two and under whom King Herod had massacred after he discovered the Messiah had been born.

¹⁶ Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men. ¹⁷ Then was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah:

¹⁸ “A voice was heard in Ramah,
    weeping and loud lamentation,
Rachel weeping for her children;
    she refused to be comforted, because they are no more.”  (Matthew 2:16-18)*

So I asked, "What would enable and drive a man to commit such an atrocity?"

Here are three reasons:

1. A Seared Conscious
2. Fear
3. Lust for Power or Control

Then I considered that those are the same themes of Planned Parenthood's sales strategy to convince clients to choose abortion.

Their recent advertising campaigns have sought to remove the stigma of abortion-on-demand (abortion for convenience purposes only). Since science has blown holes all through their previous argument that it's not a baby, just a clump of cells like a tumor invading your body, they now have to make killing innocent babies seem less horrible. So after their previous #ShoutYourAbortion campaign, they are now launching a new ad campaign in which PPF CEO Cecile Richards talks about her own abortion of convenience as if it was no big deal.  They want you to believe that your CONVENIENCE is more important than an innocent child's LIFE!  Our culture has been working with PPF to sear the human conscience for decades. Whether in the womb, on life support, or in old age, our culture has been trying to deny the sanctity of human life so they can pursue their own selfish desires.  Our progressive cultures strives to deaden the moral conviction and awareness of eternity which God has placed inside each human heart. (Ecc. 3:11)

The majority of PPF's clients and/or target audience are youth as young as 10. Much of their lobbying work and propaganda over the past decade or more have pushed for the "Sexual Rights of the Child" and for increased privacy laws. The goals are two-fold: encourage more risky sexual behavior among children at younger ages when they are too young to understand God's design for sex and too irresponsible to use contraceptives correctly, and keep parents completely out of the loop. Without the shelter and guidance of their parents, children and young teens feel much more desperate and afraid. So they go to their guidance counselors who often send them directly to PPF centers for abortions without parental consent, or they go to PPF on their own because they remember seeing them in their schools teaching a morally bankrupt version of "sex education". Once these girls walk into PPF clinics, PPF "counselors" use fear tactics to pressure them into an abortion. They convince these girls there is no other option by failing to provide any other alternatives and by giving them all these worst-case scenarios while failing to inform them of the physical and emotional risks of abortion.  They push girls through the abortion mill quickly before they have a chance to back out (as if they were ever given a choice) by using fear as the primary catalyst.

The Rights of the Child propaganda seeks to convince young people that they are the ones who should have control over their lives and over their bodies (and that their parents need not know or interfere) despite how naturally immature, irresponsible, and naive most kids are at that age. They have even lobbied to have children sit on government boards making decisions about reproductive health...as if kids have a clue at that age. Power and control are the candy they dole out to children to win their favor and lure them in. 

For their older clients, they argue that abortion will give them more control over their own lives and more power to pursue their dreams. Such flimsy arguments are completely self-centered, one-sided, and short sighted. Children are a blessing not a curse. PPF argues that it's okay to kill all the children in the land like Herod did except they focus on the children who are still in the womb (or who were born alive following a botched abortion) so as not to interfere with women's careers or immediate goals.  They justify abortion because they think it will keep them on the throne of their self-centered lives. But the truth is that we are not in control of our lives; God is. And if we try to live it outside of his plans and purposes, we will live an empty, lonely, miserable existence that may give us lots of worldly things, but it will not give us anything that truly matters or lasts forever.

So this Christmas, if and when we hear the Coventry Carol being sung, let us weep not only for the children Herold had slaughtered but also for the millions of babies butchered every year through abortion.

Did God really say that?

We live in a culture that insists that Christians only accept the Bible in bits, not as a whole. For now, the culture (and too many mainline "Christian" churches and seminaries) will at least permit Christians to adopt the passages on loving thy neighbor, giving to the poor, and not judging others as long as they do so in a way that is politically correct while also ignoring other passages that condemn sexual immorality, gay marriage, abortion, or selfish-ambition. The passages that insist there is only one way to salvation, that is through Christ alone, must be dismissed so as not to offend other religions, even though to do so would require accepting two contradictory statements as both being true which contradicts basic logic. Worse, to assert that there are multiple ways to salvation would be to call Christ a liar or a lunatic. (See John 8.) Only a fool would suffer and die as He did if there was any other way to save humankind. To call Himself the Son of God and the promised Messiah would be ultimate blasphemy unless He truly was who He said He was. Given that Jesus fulfilled at least 351 prophecies of the Messiah perfectly and that fulfilling only eight is statistically impossible, the odds are certainly in favor of His claims. Then there are the countless followers who know Him personally through faith and testify of their personal experience which confirms the truth of His authenticity.

The culture is also pushing toward an anti-Semitic worldview that insists that we ignore Biblical teaching on the origins of Israel and the Middle Eastern conflict despite the complete accuracy with which the Bible has perfectly foretold the events that have taken place since the days of their father Abraham. When establishing Islam, Muhammad tried to reverse the characters of Isaac and Ishmael so that Ishmael's descendants (who God still blessed abundantly as promised in Genesis 17:20) would receive the specific promise given to Isaac.  Ishmael's descendants can all receive the same spiritual promise through faith, just as we Gentiles can be grafted in by faith, receiving the same inheritance by faith in Christ. God's plan for peace comes through faith, not through war or hostility.  God's plan for peace is only by His plans and His power, not by any human strategy or effort. The culture blames Christians and Jews for all the wars around the world when the Scriptures accurately foretold that this hostility would come from the descendants of Ishmael (Genesis 16:12).

The culture accuses Christians of being exclusive and intolerant, but the fact is that the true path to peace comes only through faith in Christ, and He has extended that salvation to ALL who believe.  No one who comes by genuine faith will be excluded, and we are commanded to go into ALL the world sharing the hope available through Christ.  We have nothing to gain personally in this life except ridicule by sharing the full Gospel with others, but those with whom we share have everything to gain. It is selfless love and a desire for peace that compels the true believer, not arrogance or hostility. (See Genesis 16:12, 25:18.)

Our culture apparently wants us to also ignore the last chapter of the Bible (Revelation 22:18) which warns of judgment on anyone who adds or takes away from the Scriptures.

Our culture insists we are haters, intolerant, and arrogant simply because we refuse to question the words of the God of the universe who possesses all power, all wisdom, all knowledge, and perfect love.  Could it be that those who insist that we read the Bible with white-out or who edit the Scriptures to suit their own social preferences are the more arrogant ones, for are they not essentially shaking their fists at God, accusing Him of being unloving, unwise, and flat out wrong?  Who is pompous enough to declare that God was wrong about those issues that clash with new and ever-changing social norms? Who is brave enough to deny His holiness and call him a fool or a liar?

The ultimate  fool and father of lies (John 8:44) is Satan himself who first questioned God's word.  He tempted Eve by instilling doubt with the question, "'Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Genesis 3:1)  Today, Satan is leading our society astray with similar deceptive questions and statements such as the following:

• Satan's Deception:  Did God really say that marriage can be only be between one man and one woman?" 

(Truth:  Yes, He really did. Reference Genesis 2: 14-24, Deuteronomy 24:5, Proverbs 18:22,  Matthew 19:4-6,  Mark 10:6-9, Ephesians 5:22-33, Exodus 20:14, and Colossians 3:18-19 for a few examples. )

• Satan's Deception:  Does God seriously expect you to keep sex only within the marriage covenant? If He really did, wouldn't He would have made it easier for you?

 (Truth:Yes, He really does, for sex will only reach it's true fulfillment and purpose within the safe boundaries of covenant marriage.  This command is not unattainable, however, for all things are possible through Christ. He wants us to rely on His power, though, not merely our own.  Reference  1 Corinthians 2:7-9, 1 Corinthians 6:9-20, 1 Corinthians 7:2,

1 , Hebrews 13:4, Philippians 4:13, Colossians 3:5, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, 1 , Ephesians 5:3, and Proverbs 5:15-18.)

• Satan's Deception:  Did God really say that homosexuality is wrong?  God would not give two people of the same sex such a strong attraction to each other if He did not intend for them to act on their sexual urges.  Besides, now that we have populated the earth, the "be fruitful and multiply" excuse for male/female intercourse should no longer be valid. 

 (Truth:  The Scriptures repeatedly teach that homosexual acts are sinful and reveal harmful consequences, but these Bible verses "aren't about condemning homosexuals, gays, lesbians, or transgender people. Rather, God's words provide a loving warning and offer of grace for those who have strayed from His will for sex. • Satan's Deception:  God's promise to Isaac was unfair to Ishmael and caused too many wars.  Since Israel is so small and all the surrounding nations are too small.  Just side with the Arabs and strip Israel of the land they claim is theirs by God's decree.

 (Truth:  God does not start wars or tempt us to sin. Our own evil desires are what entice us to sin and lead us to death. (James 1:13-15)  God did not cause the Middle Eastern conflict, but He has made a way for both the sons of Isaac and Ishmael to find peace and an eternal inheritance through Christ. Any plans we make apart from God will ultimately fail. (Proverbs 19:21 and Proverbs 21:30)  God promised that land to Israel, and nothing can thwart the plans, purposes, and promises of God.  See Job 42:2, Psalm 33:10-11, 2 Chronicles 20:6, and Proverbs 16:4)

• Satan's Deception:   Surely God does not mind if you abort a fetus, especially if, as the abortion clinic workers repeatedly insist, you are in no position to properly care for a child. 

(Truth:  God is the giver of life.  He creates all life in His image. Scriptures affirm the value of all life, from the unborn to the elderly.  All life, whether born or unborn is precious to Him and has been given a unique plan and purpose.  He wants us to trust Him with all our needs and with those of our children.  (See Jeremiah 1:5, Job 31:15, Psalm 22:10,  Psalm 139: 13-16, and Exodus 20:13)

God is infinite, the first and the last.  (Revelation 22:13)  He never changes. What He said then He still means now. 

He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind.” (1 Samuel 15:29)

No matter what society calls me or does to me, I will always fear God more than man, so I'm going to take Him at his word.

While we must be careful not to throw stones or  cast judgment, we absolutely cannot compromise God's truth to make it seem more comfortable to a society that flat out rejects Him.  How others choose to respond to His word is solely between them and God.  We just must be faithful to live out the faith authentically and share God's unedited truth in love.

The Paradoxical Progressive Playbook from an Outsider's Perspective

A week after the 2016 presidential election, news networks and liberals are still scratching their heads wondering what went wrong.  There has been no shortage of op-ed pieces written on this matter, so instead of offering up more opinions as to why Hillary Clinton lost, perhaps it would help to present an outsider's perspective of the progressive liberal agenda as a mirror to help progressives see what outsiders' see.

From a pragmatic perspective, the progressive narrative dominating modern American culture does not seem compassionate, logical, or hopeful.  Instead of presenting a dream for a better future, progressive ideals place America on a destructive trajectory. The progressive playbook looks more like a toxic pile of insulting labels and paradoxical talking points than any reasonable or helpful plan for positive change, so those outside of progressive herds refused to support such dismal plans with their votes. An outsider's observations of the progressives' rule book for playing the social change game, with all its many contradictions, are listed below.

• Truth is relative and tolerance is encouraged, except with regard to progressive platforms.  To join the progressive club, you must hold all views in common with the progressive elites. Comments, questions, or suggestions that oppose the progressive talking points will not be tolerated under any circumstance.  The marketplace of ideas now only has room for our ideas. Progressives value diversity as long as everyone thinks like we do. Freedom of speech is applauded during progressive protest events, but any speech that differs in content from ours must be silenced immediately. Use force when necessary.

• Even though wealthy Americans and business owners create jobs, build the economy, support their communities, and give generously to charity, they are a menace to society and must be punished.  Exceptions exist for wealthy businessmen who financially support our cause and collude with progressive minded politicians like Michael Froman, a former Citibank executive, did when he purchased the right to appoint Obama’s cabinet members. As for the others who do not advance our new social order, we don’t need the jobs they create anyway since we can choose to not work and live off entitlements or to work for the government or globalist billionaires as community organizers, protestors, lobbyists, and politicians.

• Facts never matter to us. We are ruled by our feelings, even when our feelings lie to us.  No matter how well people support their arguments with facts, if what they say makes us feel uncomfortable or compromises the validity of our worldview, they are wrong. Remember that there is no right or wrong, but we are always right, and they are always wrong.

• Progressives are free spirits. We think outside-of-the-box. We will not let conservatives tell us what to do with our bodies! We support socialized health care because the government can make better decisions about our healthcare and our bodies than we can, except with regard to abortion.  We just need to make sure progressive elites maintain control of our national healthcare syste because they are so interested in fanticide and euthanasia, they will tell us to abort anyway, especially if we're poor, black, or some other "weed". • To manage conflict, shut-down all conversations involving opposing worldviews. Preferred progressive methods for ending uncomfortable conversations include:  

1. Make broad sweeping statements to categorize and insult entire groups of people even if the person holding the opposing viewpoint does not characterize that group as a whole.
2. Use elementary school style bullying as needed.
3. Complain that your feelings art hurt and start the water works.
4. Protest, riot, and commit acts of violence that will attract the media and provide free press for the progressive platform.
5. Apply labels liberally.  Popular progress labels include "sexist", "bigot" "racist", "intolerant", "xenophobic", "intolerant", "supremacist", and "nationalist".

• People do not kill people.  The NRA and guns kill people, so support all efforts to ban guns and bankrupt the NRA. Allowed exceptions include arming terrorists  and running guns to drug cartels because the progressive government leaders who made those decisions know far better than we do what is best. If we ban guns and set up more gun-free zones, then we will be safe because terrorists and criminals do not break our laws.We can trust the Democrats in federal government (who let our men die in Benghazi despite repeated pleas for help not just from Ambassador Stephens and even from the Pentagon who had reinforcements ready and waiting to defend them) to protect us, so why would we ever need to protect ourselves?

• Progressives support the interests of the LGBTQ community except when terrorists want to shoot them all in a bar in Orlando. In that case, the FBI stopped all investigations surrounding suspected terrorist Omar Matten due to FBI limitations.  We would not consider tightening the borders or keeping out the terrorists who have a deeper level of hatred for gays as as long as the nations that fund terror also fund our cause with many millions of dollars. 

• Even though America was founded on Christian principles which even Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson (both of whom were not Christians) insisted were vital for democracy’s survival (we're writing all that out of the revised history books), even though Christians continue to be the most generous people on earth with their time and their money, even though faith based ministries provide more effective world relief and humanitarian aid than secular or government programs, and even though Biblical truth and strong Christian faith were what drove William Wilberforce, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Abraham Lincoln, and U.S. Republicans to take great risks to free the oppressed, Christianity must be suppressed because it hinders our ultimate goal of suppressing all mankind.

•  Since so many people have suffered and died in the name of religion, and since Catholics and evangelical Christians oppose our revolutionary ideas, both groups should be punished. To ensure that their influence dies, we will infiltrate their churches with wolves in sheep's clothing who will pretend to be like them but lead them all astray. (Reference "Catholic Spring" in the Podesta emails at WikiLeaks.)  Note how many have died under evangelical dictators in the chart below compared to atheists. Oops, evangelicals are note even listed in the top 10, but we do see 15 million killed under a Catholic dictator who was far more corrupt than he was Catholic.  Just don't look at how many people were killed by atheists, as our globalist minded financial backers are atheists, and we don't want to portray them as mass murderers. This chart only shows dictators, but while evangelicals and Catholics oppose dictatorships, progressives aren't for dictatorships either...well, not yet anyway, but that is where our agenda ultimately leads. It will be fine, though.  While ultimate power ultimately corrupts, these wealthy men who are vying for dictator status are on our side....at least for now. Oh never mind!

• So evangelicals are not mass murderers, but they oppose our "Constitutionally protected" right to kill out own children which overrules the child's God given right to life (in our minds anyway), and that’s a problem. Imagine what the world would be like if the 58 million Americans* aborted since 1973 had been allowed to live, love, laugh, learn and give back. We are not like the tyrants in the chart above because we only mass murder innocent people whom Planned Parenthood operatives convince us will make our lives inconvenient. 

*53 million from 1973 through 2011 plus approximately 1 million per year since in the U.S. alone 

• Evangelical beliefs are far more radical than ours, especially in the way they treat women and children. Evangelicals actually teach that children are not an inconvenience but rather, a blessing and a gift from the Lord. They think separation of church and state means the government cannot dictate how they practice their faith, but we will make sure they are forced by law to pay for our abortions. Evangelical and Catholics are barbaric in the way they describe the partial birth procedure. Their medical accuracy and pictures make us feel guilty. (Remember again that anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable is wrong!).  The partial birth procedure is nothing more than turning the baby into a breech position (which is harmful for the mother, but losing sleep because of a baby's cries is no picnic either), and delivering the healthy, full-term baby backward, all except the head, and then while the body hangs out of the mother's body, the doctor simply pokes his scissors into the skull and then sucks the brains out.  It hurts like the dickens, but the full term healthy and vibrant fetal mass does not suffer forever. 

• Progressives are so much more humane and loving than gun toters. They hunt for food or for sport and call it conservationism.  We would not kill a flee on our pets, much less kill a large animal, and we protest like crazy when a gorilla is killed at the Cincinnati zoo to save a boy’s life.

• Thanks to the federal government’s progressive move to underwrite college education (which drove tuition prices sky high, but we don't care because unsustainable federal debt will bring down America and that is our end goal), progressive academia, college students, and millennials are now the most indoctrinated educated members of society. They are so indoctrinated educated that they can recite an entire diversity training manual from memory.  Some are so versed in social justice warrior skills that they can earn a PhD for a dissertation that labels STEM curricula as sexist on the premise that women cannot think objectively!  Post- doctoral research has become so advanced that one astute professor conducted a study that proved that pumpkins are racist!  While these educated progressives have no comprehension of basic economics, finance, history, civics, logic, or rhetoric, and cannot recite a single line from the U.S. Constitution, they know that Roe V. Wade gave them the freedom to abort babies.  They have no concept of communism or its ill effects. Nearly two-thirds of millennials surveyed agree with Marxist philosophy and 46% think socialism is good while 58% view capitalism unfavorably (view full survey results here), but that's good for our cause because socialism is a prerequisite for world domination, and capitalism works against us since it tends to restore failing economies.  They have no concept of the value of human liberty or of the ultimate price paid by countless American patriots to preserve it, so they would gladly trade their freedom, which has infinite worth, for free stuff the government buys with hard working taxpayers' money. They have no concept of limited resources or the implications of oppressive debt loads, but they have lots of ideas for ways to spend other people’s hard earned money. Progressive college students do not know how to handle disappointment as illustrated by the recent rioting, and they cannot deal with real life outside of their safe spaces, but they are expert protestors and have mastered the art of political correctness.  They will suit our  agenda perfectly.

• Even though slavery existed in every ancient civilization and continued through the Babylonian, Greek, and Roman empires, all through the Middle Ages, around the Mediterranean region, throughout Arabia and Africa, and grew during the 10th century German expansion during which so many Slavs were taken as slaves that we derived our generic term “slave” from them), and even though slavery spread to Russia and the entire Baltic sea region and on to Portugal, Europe, Britain, the West Indies, and the U.S. colonies, white Americans are the only ones to blame for slavery**, even if white Americans have no genetic connection to slave owners and even if they are descendants of abolitionists. White Anglo-Saxons did not start slavery, but they did lead the efforts to abolish it. Even so, we will punish all whites forever no matter how much they stand up against racial injustice now.

**Please note that conservative Christians hold to a Biblical, benevolent patriotism.  We seek to manage our resources wisely, grow our economy, and honor God so that as He pours blessings upon us, we may be a blessing to other nations.  Our patriotism must never be a selfish, racist, or imperialistic nationalism. It's not about more for us, but about providing more benefits to the entire world through wise stewardship of the resources God has given us. 

• Even though slavery still exists in America for people of all colors and nationalities here in the U.S. and abroad through human trafficking and radical Islam, and even though conservative Christians of all races strive to set them free out of human compassion and in memory of all who have suffered in slavery before them,  progressives tend to ignore such injustice going on right now all around us because we are so consumed with injustices of the past.  Besides, we rae more likely to stir up the racial division and the violent street drama George Soros wants by rehashing past injustices, making everyone feel guilty, and punishing the majority.  Instead of fighting against current slavery and gross injustice in a way that could save and heal countless lives, families, marriages, and cultures, we will accept financial donations from nations who encourage and support human trafficking. We will preserve and expand pornography and lewd entertainment both in pop music culture and in darker corners of the internet, child pornography, and pedophilia in the name of free speech, free love, and free sexual expression, no matter how violent or inhumane, to increase the demand for trafficked victims. Those who fund us profit most when we support sexual slavery, and those of us who choose to indulge in the lusts of the flesh enjoy the easy access, so it’s a win/win.

• America is not great and never has been great.  Thus, America must be punished, weakened, marginalized and depressed so that the U.S. can no longer bring freedom, hope, healing, and charity to suffering people around the world.  The weaker America becomes, the more our wealthy, corrupt sugar daddies can radically transform America into vassal nation with no foundation of morality, no respect for the traditional family or the stability it brings to a nation, no rule of law, no respect for others, and no order at all.  In such a helpless estate, America will be poised and ready to become slaves to a corrupt, unaccountable, powerful, tyrannical global government. 

We ordinary outsiders whom progressives failed to consider during the 2016 election, are ruled by truth and common sense instead of progressive indoctrination and feelings, so we see the progressive agenda differently than they do.  It is an extremely clever strategy, especially as it has infiltrated schools, churches, and the media to totally transform how and what people think, but we wonder if the individuals who buy into this movement are being duped by their masters, or if they are deliberately allowing themselves to be used as pawns to dismantle America and to further the globalists' dream of uniting the entire world under their authority.  Such a notion may seem like a radical right wing conspiracy theory, but after 30 years of observing compounding evidence and perusing recent WikiLeaks and FBI reports, it is almost impossible to refute.  This 15 minute video provides a quick summary of all those years of evidence and outlines the globalists' strategy.

The Bible provides God's opinion on globalism in the book of Genesis. God initially created the earth to be one global community under His perfectly loving, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent reign, but the fall of man corrupted that perfect design.  The Tower of Babel account in Genesis 11: 1-11 shows man's attempt to unite as one global community, filled with pride and lust for power.  In His mercy, God disrupted their plans and spread the people out into unique nations with different languages to prevent them from become slaves to all- powerful, unaccountable, corrupt, global rulers.  When Christ returns to judge the earth, He will establish a unified kingdom, but peace, unity, and goodness are only possible under His reign, for only He is completely righteous, all knowing, and perfect in love and grace. Only God Himself can rightly manage that much power in truth and justice. Until he returns, antichrists will come and go. They will deny the truth, reject God, and seek to rule over people as gods.  But believers must be discerning and reject false teaching.  It should come as no surprise that George Soros and his posse of globalists, coming together under Soros' Open Society Foundation (aka Open Borders Society), are secular humanists who despise God and deceive and destroy that which God created for good.

So, I'm driving to my office to turn in my weekly paperwork. A headlight is out. I see a Tucson Police Department squad vehicle turn around and follow me. I'm already preparing for the stop.

The lights go on and I pull over. The officer asks me how I'm doing, and then asks if I have any weapons.

"Yes, sir. I'm a concealed carry permit holder and my weapon is located on my right hip. My wallet is in my back-right pocket."

The officer explains for his safety and mine, he needs to disarm me for the stop. I understand, and I unlock the vehicle. I explain that I'm running a 7TS ALS holster but from the angle, the second officer can't unholster it. Lead officer asks me to step out, and I do so slowly. Officer relieves me of my Glock and compliments the X300U I'm running on it. He also sees my military ID and I tell him I'm with the National Guard.

Lead officer points out my registration card is out of date but he knows my registration is up to date. He goes back to run my license. I know he's got me on at least two infractions. I'm thinking of how to pay them.

Officers return with my Glock in an evidence back, locked and cleared. "Because you were cool with us and didn't give us grief, I'm just going to leave it at a verbal warning. Get that headlight fixed as soon as possible."

I smile. “Thank you, sir.”

I’m a black man wearing a hoodie and strapped. According to certain social movements, I shouldn’t be alive right now because the police are allegedly out to kill minorities.

Maybe…just maybe…that notion is bunk.

Maybe if you treat police officers with respect, they will do the same to you.

Police officers are people, too. By far and large, most are good people and they’re not out to get you.

The key word in this man's post is "respect". Love and respect are not only the cornerstones of a healthy marriage, they are the bedrock of a healthy society. Without them, the dominoes of hatred fall one after another until every stronghold of society is knocked down.

Love and respect could push back hate
If God's love and light were welcomed here.
When our gods are self and the global state.
We lose our heroes and live in fear!

When the culture kicks out the chief cornerstone (Acts 4:11) who is the very definition and embodiment of love, there is only hate, for just as darkness is the absence of light; hatred is the absence of love. God is love.

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8)

Let us be fervent in prayer for our country, our police force, the families of those who have lost loved ones through the fires of hatred, be it a police officer or the Alton Sterlings of the world, and mostly for the souls of Americans to be turned back to God.   We desperately need you, Jesus!

Have No Fear

I saw a headline the other day that expressed surprise when an atheist professor actually admitted what Christians knew all along regarding why atheists are so quick to ridicule and persecute Christ followers yet dare not say one contrary word about Islam. He doesn't fear Christians because they are a people of peace and forgiveness who are commanded to love their enemies and turn the other cheek, but he and his cronies are scared to death of extremist terrorists groups who think nothing of butchering all people (women and children included) who seem the least bit opposed to their belief system. So if you hate and kill those you call infidels, you are a protected class, but if you extend the love and mercy of God, you are despised. What irony!

Atheists are scared to death. All other religions hold their followers in bondage to fear of death and the afterlife, for they do not offer any certainty regarding one's eternal state except for some neurotic notion that by killing innocent people, a wicked extremist Muslim man can gain virgins in paradise.  Others are afraid of earthly authorities or of public disgrace.  Yet, believing Christians have no fear or any man or of death, for their eternity is absolutely secure in Christ apart from any works of our own.  Nothing can separate a born again believer from Christ's eternal promises.  It's the most glorious and gracious gospel.   Furthermore, God confirms His promises in our hearts by completing changing His people from the inside out and manifesting Himself in supernatural ways that strengthen one's faith.  He opens their eyes to the hundreds of detailed prophecies foretold about him which He fulfilled exactly in ways that no man could orchestrate

Christians have no fear of kings or of common man, for their trust is in the omnipotent God who is with them to save and deliver them.  (Jeremiah 42:11) . Christians need not fear momentary mortal harm, for life of this earth is but a blink of the eye when compared to eternity.

4 “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. 5 But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell.Yes, I tell you, fear him! (Luke 12:3-5)

Fear no more.  Be of good comfort.  Place your hope and your trust in the one true God!
