Just because we can't see the sun, however, doesn't mean it's not still shining. The sun remains completely unchanged, but our perspective is darkened by the moon. For that moment, it seems darkness has overcome us, but the sun is still there in all it's massive splendor and light.
Note: The sun is over 400 times larger than the moon in diameter. The sun is over 113 times larger than the earth, and the earth is 3.67 times larger than the moon.
So, while we may go through periods of darkness as we journey through
this life and while God's light may sometimes be hard to see, He's still
there, massive in glory, shining brighter than ever. Our problems are
smaller than we are, but they are infinitely smaller than He is.
Furthermore, our dark days are temporary, only a blip in the timeline of
eternity. So, when darkness overwhelms you, trust in the light you
cannot see, knowing that He will ultimately set you free.
